Join the Chamber at the July Membership Luncheon where Eddy Cumins of SMART will be the featured guest and he will provide an update on current ridership\, progress related to SMART's planning for the future initiative\, as well as talking about some recent improvements and achievements.\n\n\n\nWe will be at the Mary Agatha Furth Center in their courtyard\, food by Omelette Express and a sweet treat donated by Nothing Bundt Cakes.\n\n\n\nOur Member of the Month is Loewen Insurance.\n\n\n\nPlease note any dietary needs in your registration and we will do our best to accomadate.\n\n\n\nEddy Cumins Bio:\n\nEddy Cumins is the General Manager of the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) District.  As General Manager he is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of SMART's transit and freight services.  Eddy is also responsible for the planning\, development\, and construction of SMART's multi-use pathway network and rail extensions.  \n\nPrior to joining SMART as General Manager on November 29\, 2021\, Eddy served as Chief Operating Officer for the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).  Eddy began his career at UTA in 2011 after a distinguished 20-year military career in the United States Air Force.  During his time in the Air Force\, Eddy served in numerous capacities in the Vehicle Management field and 4 years as an Airman Leadership School Commandant.\n\nEddy earned a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Development from Southwestern College.
